How to Get Kills

Getting kills in FREE FOR ALL is a tempo problem, not a highlight-reel problem. Lobbies cap at 12 players with no teams, average sessions run short, and someone with Jetpack or Diamond Rifle will eventually share your screen. This guide turns that chaos into a repeatable kill plan. Pair it with How to Win for mindset and Weapons and Powerups for loot literacy.

Confirm you are on 1-Day’s place 135392317269737 first — Not Forsaken — so you are not practicing Rivals or Forsaken habits by mistake.

Session goal: crown without tunnel vision

Before you queue, pick one kill target for the lobby:

  • First blood after a clean loot route
  • Three eliminations without chasing the same rival
  • One cleanup on a pass user (Jetpack, Double Health, or rifle)
  • Top-half on the local board even if you never finish #1

“Take the crown” means owning the board for a stretch, not dying on a revenge swing. Short playtimes punish ego duels.

Step 1 — Loot first, fist second

Empty-handed peeks are donations. Opening seconds should be:

  1. Sprint a known crate / weapon lane you learned from playtests (names vary — verify in-game).
  2. Grab a mid-range gun before you hunt audio.
  3. Pocket a close-range swap if the map offers one.
  4. Only then rotate toward gunfire.

If two players contest the same pickup, either third-party the winner or leave for a secondary spawn. Body-blocking a crate for one second is often worth more than a fair fist fight. Free loot is your Diamond Rifle until you buy one — see Weapons tier list and the Loadout Picker.

Step 2 — Third-party as your default kill type

In a 12-player blender, most clean eliminations are stolen:

  1. Identify a 1v1 by sound or kill feed motion.
  2. Approach from a third angle — not their shared hallway.
  3. Wait until both are chipped or one reloads.
  4. Dump damage into the weaker target, then re-evaluate the survivor.
  5. Leave if a fourth body arrives. Streak protection beats greed.

Drill this deliberately: one lobby where only third-party kills count for your personal score. Expand timing notes on Advanced Strategy.

Step 3 — High ground converts chips into crowns

Height gives safer reloads, better target acquisition, and escape options when Gravity Gun or rifle users focus you.

  • Without passes: learn stairs, crates, roof lips, and jump-up routes on each layout you see.
  • With passes: Double Jump, Grappling Hook, and Jetpack are purchased elevation engines — prices and roles on Best Value Passes and Game Passes.

Rule: if you must take a fair duel from low ground into a Jetpack user, you already lost the positioning war. Reposition, then re-engage.

Step 4 — Kill patterns vs common Game Pass users

vs Double Jump / Grapple / Jetpack

  • Pre-aim landings, not empty sky.
  • Force indoor or tight geometry where thrust is awkward.
  • Do not empty your mag into air; save burst for touchdown.

vs Double Health

  • Avoid magazine-for-magazine open trades.
  • Chip, break LOS, finish after they overcommit.
  • Third-party tanks while they tunnel someone else.

vs Diamond Rifle / Admin Guns Pack

  • Hard cover over hero peeks.
  • Strafe unpredictably; punish reloads only.
  • Collapse mid-fight instead of mirroring long range with a weaker gun.

vs Gravity Gun / UFO

  • Keep a wall at your back so physics toys cannot yeet you into a sniper lane.
  • Spread from accidental clusters; stacked players are combo food.

Positioning counters are free. Purchases are optional accelerators via the Loadout Picker.

Step 5 — Short-session tempo (play the clock you have)

Trackers often show ~10-minute average playtimes. Structure a burst lobby like this:

MinuteFocus
0–1Loot route, avoid ego fist
1–4First third-party window
4–7High ground holds, deny rotations
7+Protect streak or soft reset after a bad death

If you die early with no loot, do not revenge sprint the same angle. Change vector, re-loot, then rejoin the soundscape. Beginner Tips covers the mental reset; How to Win covers board control.

Platform notes while hunting kills

  • PC: flick to air targets; invest sensitivity time on Controls.
  • Console / mobile: lean harder into third-parties and cover; aim assist will not save a bad peek — Console and Mobile.
  • All platforms: turn down visual noise if you can; audio footsteps win more crowns than cosmetic flexes.

What does not get you kills

  • Fake redeem codes (Codes — none known as of Sep 2026)
  • Unverified combat scripts (Scripts, Scripts Safety)
  • Buying every pass at once without a loot plan
  • Tunneling one rival while two others rotate onto you
  • Watching Forsaken/Rivals “FFA” tips without ID checks (Not Forsaken)

Drill playlist (one evening)

  1. Lobby A — loot-only first 45 seconds, then fight.
  2. Lobby B — only third-party eliminations count.
  3. Lobby C — only high-ground engagements.
  4. Lobby D — challenge one hated pass type and note what worked.
  5. Review spend decisions with Best Value Passes only after you can explain a death without blaming Robux.

Crown the board by controlling when damage happens: loot early, steal mid-fights, hold height, and leave before the tourist crowd arrives.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about FREE FOR ALL on Roblox.

What is the fastest way to get more kills in FREE FOR ALL?

Loot first, then prioritize third-parties over fair 1v1 peeks. Waiting two seconds often doubles survival and eliminations.

Can free players get kills against Admin Guns Pack?

Yes. Use cover, reload punishes, and mid-fight collapses. Passes help, but bad peeks still lose.

Should I always chase the crown player?

No. Tunneling the leader while low on loot feeds the lobby. Rotate, re-loot, and third-party their next fight.

Which Game Pass helps get kills first?

Cheap mobility such as Double Jump teaches spacing. Confirm value on Best Value Passes and the Loadout Picker before buying.

Why do I die right after a kill?

You stayed in the gunshot tourist zone. Finish, take space or leave, and reload in cover before the next peek.

Do codes give kill boosts?

No known redeem codes existed as of September 2026. Ignore fake FFA code lists aimed at the wrong game.
